M(other)s Stories
M(other)s Stories is a current research project that draws directly upon maternal experiences to create visual and text based narratives exposing the work of mothers. My intentions for this project are to collaborate with a group of mothers in order to collect, collate and transform their stories of caring for children. To make public the daily challenges that they face in raising their children and to celebrate their achievements. Through creating this work I also aim to reveal the creativity of mothers and to improve the health, wellbeing and self esteem of mothers collaborating on the project.
